Maintain Lane Discipline!

Recall the last time you were stuck in heavy traffic jam. One of the lane appeared to be moving faster than another. You get tempted in changing the lane. The minute you swap lanes, the lane comes to abrupt halt while the lane that you left starts to move!
Similarly when markets consolidate or correct, funds / stocks you are holding would appear to be under performing more. There would be temptation to churn the portfolio, switch into some other fund or stock, or even switch asset class!
More often than not, resisting the action bias and patiently sticking to your investment plans would turn out a prudent decision. Buy right sit tight !
